Okay Everyone I Get the Point

About 22 thousand of my friends have been asking me to write more. I don't have a problem with writing more, but I do have a problem with giving a lot of meaningless details. I would write about how bums stole my stuff, but that would be a lie. When I go to San Francisco there are a lot of bums, but since I am on a first name basis with them, I would just say, "Hey Larry give em back!" or "Yo dog keep the change..." Anyway...check out my blog. I will produce the commentary that will bring you back day after day...peace out from Dub...that is Dublin for all ya'll that don't know.

Conference, Oprah, and Brandon's Rebuttal

Before reading this blog please note that this is my commentary on GREG'S blog posted Sunday April, 1. See link below for great understanding and enlightenment.

http://delapaz4ever.blogspot.com/2007/04/watching-conference-is-not-like.html

I can totally relate. My wife had thread and fake egg in her hand during conference. When I asked her what she was doing she told me that the RS puts so much pressure on her to be creative, that spiritual nourishment means very little in her life. I on the other hand, filled up 12 journals of spiritual insights before the Sat afternoon session even started.

Regarding the Oprah comment, I have mixed feelings. I was not an Oprah fan until she changed my life with a single show. It was the best episode I had have ever seen. It was the show where she talked about the Secret. Each segment had a powerful born again preacher and crazy/amazing cliff hangers before going to commercials. After sitting through 45 minutes of "on the edge of your seat" entertainment Oprah proceeded to tell everyone watching what the Secret was...the Secret is…that if you are happy, you are happy. Being happy can make you happy. This really did not sink in until she had the follow up episode to the Secret. The second show was even more powerful than the first. I proceeded to buy the book at Costco (because it was cheaper than Barns and Noble or Borders)…either way I have the book. I also have the DVD if you don’t like reading. Anyway…back to the point. Oprah is wonderful and I thought it was a low blow to bring her into it. Besides who could ever get enough of hearing the sad stories of rape, incest, and starving children in Africa…she is moving and if she farted or burped I would too.

Where have I been?!?!

Needless to say the last several weeks have been really hard. My wife who I will leave nameless (but her feet are in the attached picture) took over the family blog. I originally started that blog, "Tanner Family Blog" as a powerful way to keep in contact with friends and family. Now under the guise of Tanner Family, she writes and writes stuff that only her friends would read. To make matters worse, not only did she take over my blog, she upgraded the blog from super blogger to professional blogger. When that happened I lost my username and password…that really hurt me, both emotionally and…well, it really only hurt emotionally. Because of this I titled today’s blog, “Where have I been?” ...after holding a two week grudge with my wife (see feet in attached picture), I realized that upgrading the blog didn’t delete my login info, but rather I just forgot my username and password and was not logging in correctly...Now two weeks later…I am happy to announce…I remembered it…and I am back in business.

Feeling Alone Can Really Hurt!!!

Today was a difficult day. I played basket ball for 2-1/2 hours this morning and then I watched Jake for the rest of the day. Jake is a great kid and love spending time with him, but sometimes I feel that I am all alone. Jake and I have visited my great grandmothers alone.
Today, when it came time to clean the house I did that alone. When we had friends over earlier tonight I held Jake while Brittany got the fondue ready. I held Jake alone while the fondue was warming up. Jake needed his diaper changed. Before Brittany came and got Jake back from me I changed his diaper. It is so rewarding to feel needed, but it is so difficult to hold Jake, clean the house, wash the dishes, and change diapers. I hope tomorrow will be a better day. In Elders quorum tomorrow I will, again, be alone with Jake. Jake comes with me each week to Elders Quorum. We go alone...while Brittany teaches her primary class...she gives her primary kids candy, too. Brittany never gives Jake or me candy...if she did we would proably have to eat it alone.

Rafael I am coming to see you!!

Sometimes blogging can be difficult. The difficulty with blogging is having to leave my computer and my blog alone while I am at work. Last year before I blogged all day long, I went on a vacation to Palm Springs. I love Palms Springs. I love the palms and the springs. I love blogging too. This is a special year...I turn 26 and started my new blog, "brandonisblogging". In a week I am going on vacation again to Palm Springs. Hopefully, I will meet Rafael Nadal for second time (the first time is illustrated above). Other than starting this blog and blogging all day long, I enjoy meeting famous tennis players from Spain who are ranked #2 in the world and have a winning record against Swiss tennis phenoms like Roger Federer. Good luck Rafa at the Pacific Life Open 2007. I wish you well on my blog and hope to wish you well in person while I cheer, "Vamos Rafa!!"
